The Troubles of an Athlete...Without a Trainer

Each athlete has his or her own troubles or issues they face, as athletes. One of those numerous matters consist of, physical injuries or traumas. As an athlete, you are bound to get injured while playing a sport, accidentally or not. As a matter of fact, most sports players end their athlete careers, because of injuries. This is when we athletic trainers step up and take responsibility for their bodies. Not only must the athletes trust us, we must also make sure no matter what, the athletes are never going into games or competitions with a physical condition that may injure them, or in whatever way give the players discomfort. Also, it is up to us to keep the athletes as healthy as they can be: no junk food, especially ones that would give a little bit of percentage that would ultimately lead to the player's end. Maintaining a good physical fitness and helping athletes practice in a manner in which he or her and we can be satisfied, is a priority.

Although each athlete is different in strengths and weaknesses, all athletes have one ultimate fear that would propel them into doing acts of wrongdoings that would also end up losing their career: the fear of ending their career. If one athlete consciously keeps on retaining that way of thought in their mind, they will just end up destroying themselves to keep up with their ideal life. Not all athletes are perfect: even if there may be one or two athletes out there, there is not one single possibility to be able to carry on that certain form for a long period of time. Once again, we athletic trainers exist to not only maintain a possible form that would satisfy their needs, but would also be able to keep up that 'perfect' form in which they would be able to fulfill their duties, as athletes on the field.
